Although many people call it steam cleaning because the 200 degree water does give the appearance of steam, we clean using truck mounted hot water extraction. This method is the preferred choice of the largest carpet manufacturers and it works by rinsing carpet with high temperature water.
Prep for your carpet cleaning by removing all small items from the rooms you want cleaned, such as small rugs, knicknacks, kid’s toys, etc. Be sure to move breakables from the tops of any furniture. Vacuum areas we are cleaning.
The time can vary greatly depending on the existing conditions, the amount of furniture in the space and if any spot removal treatments are necessary. Once we’re up and running, it will take approximately 10 – 20 minutes per room.
A spot discolors only the outside of carpet fibers. It usually is the result of a fresh accident that will come out with relative ease if removed right away. A stain embeds itself into carpet fibers, likely making the damage and any color change permanent. Knowing the difference and the right way to proceed is why EverReady is your carpet cleaning and repair specialist.
Durability and Protection – Using a stain protector lengthens the life of your carpets, especially in high-traffic areas. It adds a layer of protection against dirt, water damage, bacteria, and oil and water-based stains.
Easier Cleanup – Even professional cleaning companies can use a little help. Applying stain protection to your carpets allows spills to blot before staining which then in turn helps the carpet release more stains when we clean. Treatment helps carpet fibers resist soiling and even makes vacuuming more effective!
Improves Indoor Air Quality – Stain protection, like Scotchgard, adds an extra layer of protection to your freshly cleaned carpets. Using improper cleaning products or methods can significantly compromise indoor air quality.
It typically takes six to eight hours for carpets to completely dry after a professional cleaning but can take up to 24 hours depending on the time of year, weather and humidity. Professionals will typically extract the majority of the water directly from the carpet; however, it will still be slightly damp.
